It looks like it might be just boost and egt. Would you go with the greedy or the apexi gauges?

humm...yah, i'm kinda thinking also that the JRSC doesn't need an EGT gauge. so i would pick: Apexi El Series 60mm in Mechanical Boost in PSI, Electronic Fuel Pressure, and Electronic either Oil Pressure or Oil Temp.

you need BOOST and EGT , how are you gonna boost an engine and not worry about whats going on inside? even if its a JRSC, it dont matter, yorue boosting, you need to know whats going on inside, period. then get fuel or oil, but boost #1 then EGT

its all gonna be difft, everyone has a difft setup, the best way is to get on a wideband on a dyno or road, and at certain egt's you'll know certain estimated egt's. im sure theres an area for most boosted b16's 18's but i would play it safe and wideband it and then get an idea of egt's at certain wideband levels... understand? i know i can be confusing sometimes, LOL

Talk all the **** you want, but the autometer a/f gauge saved my *** twice. One was the first day the turbo was on, the fmu couldn't keep up with the amount of boost, and it showed lean after a certain psi. So I modded the wastegate actuator for lower psi. After a month or so, I right away noticed the a/f going to lean...so I check it out and the vacuum hose popped off the fmu, so it wasn't sensing boost and not raising the pressure. People can talk about shitty lightshows all they want, but if it wasn't for that $50 gauge, I woulda popped my motor no doubt. I'm putting the same one in my new turbo set up. It's cheap insurance.

Chill bra' . Have a beer or twelve. The Autometer is an idiot and everybody agrees to that fact. It will be usefull in limited situations but it will be of NO USE when tuning.

See everyone dog's Autometer but i think the gauge itself is accurate it's the sensor that gives it the voltage to display. Any A/F gauge will be erratic and unaccurate unless you have a wideband.

Also Autometer is a very good brand of gauge. Think about how many people run autometer. They have been around the block more than any other brand of gauge. I use them because they are great for the price and i know they are high quality.

i hear that my (.03)

Boost and EGT are the most important -- But it depends on your setup and how far you have gone as to what you need.

what up Pfieff..Its Jesse...go with boost and EGT, Greddy, Apex'i and Defi are all really nice gauges but i think you would be ok with autometers if your on a budget, My brother is running Autometer Boost, A/F, EGT in his car and they have worked fine for him

Whats up Jesse, I was going to see if I could get morgan to lay a pod for me and allow me to run 4 gauges. I'm not sure on that though yet, I haven't been able to get ahold of him. I think i'm gonna go with the greddy boost and EGT for now.
