im wondering if this turbo gt37 t3.82 ar would be simply to big or real laggy on a 81.5mm lsvtec?were its BB would this help the spool very much?whp goal is 500whp or so..but i want room to grow later on...my setup now is

1000cc pte
gsr cams
victor X/70mm TB
would the gt37 be much more laggy then the turbo i have now?

35 will push 650ish? I would just do the 35r. Its proven and actually spools pretty quick on my 81.5 bore ls/vtec

 

35R would be plenty enough for your power goal, but unless I am terribly mistaken won't that 60-1 you have see 500whp as well or no?

 

What you have now for 500whp is fine. There's no need to go to a GT35R. Your "spool" won't be affected that much. Plus, you don't want it that fast anyway.
