I am not sure what Shodan is talking about w/ the .63 having a 2.5" outlet.... The exducer on the wheel is 2.67", and that means that the outlet on the housing is going to be AT LEAST that. If you run a 2.5" downpipe on this turbine wheel it is going to cover up the outlet and choke off flow.

As for the .82 having a 3" outlet.. Both housings are still the same size at the exducer wheel. The only thing that is going to changing on the outlet between the .63 and .82 is the .82 might be bored at an angle compared to the .63 being bored strait out at about 2.7".. Either way if you have a 3" downpipe on it, then you are not going to be chocking flow on either housing.

Do the .63.</TD></TR></TABLE>

68mm exducer on the turbine you say ?
I think that would be the turbine inducer...
Exducer is 64mm on my GT3561S, and I had a outletflange for it lasercut to fit the 65mm outlet of the 5-bolt t3 style housing perfectly...
We welded a cone right onto this flange going over to 3" ID...

The turbine wheel exducer is the same size on both the .82 and .63AR, its just that the .82 come with a coned outlet, so you dont have to make this on the downpipe.
If I'm not mistaken, the .63 can be bought with a 4bolt 3" oulet also?

Hey Mr. Bond. hummmm, I havn't had a GT35R in my posession for awhile. but right here- http://www.limitengineering.com/gt-35-full.jpg on the garrett compressor map it lists the exducer as 68mm. Do you think its possible that you have a GT3261S? who did you get the turbo from? If you look here- http://www.limitengineering.com/gt-32-full.jpg the GT32 has a 64mm exducer on the turbine.

I believe you are wrong there DIRep972...
Mine is indeed a GT3561S,
and you wrote a post here also:
https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=3

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by DIRep972 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">GT3561E specs are as follows-

Compresssor:
-GT40 56 trim compressor wheel. 61mm inducer/82mm exducer. 6 blade wheel
-.60 AR T04e Precision Compressor housing
-----non ball-bearing. 360 degree thrust bearing.
Exhaust:
-GT35 84 trim exhaust wheel. 77mm inducer/64mm exducer. 10 blade wheel
-T3 .63 AR 5-bolt Precision Exhaust Housing

*T04S .70AR Precision Compressor housing is available as upgrade.
*Ball-Bearing is available as upgrade.
-T3 .82, T4 .68, and 4-bolt exhaust housings are available as option.

This turbo spools the same as an SC61 but makes 15-20 more HP.

I do not know the prices on all this stuff. PM Arturbo if you have any questions.</TD></TR></TABLE>

i run a .63 GT35R on my 85mm LS/VTEC. stock B16 head with springs and retainers, no porting. i made 570whp on 18psi, and 616whp on 24 psi. i guess the turbo was running out of breath even though its rated to a higher boost level, because adding timing was making more horsepower than increasing the boost....but upping the boost was obviously making torque increase due to the harder/quicker spool up. i see full boost between 4500 and 5000 rpm using an tubular manifold i made myself. 2.5 inch charge piping hot side, 3 inch cold side with precision 750hp intercooler. horsepower climbs to about 9000 rpm and holds between 9000 and 9500 rpm where i let off. im pretty much a firm beleiver on a street car to go with a smaller AR.

505 WHP @ 15 psi, .63 GT35R, 84mm LS/VTEC, Race Gas

604 WHP @ 27 psi, .63 GT35R, 84mm B16A

485 WHP @ 17 psi, .63 GT35R, 81.5mm GSR, 92 Octane!

Those power numbers are more than enough for me to decide that a .63 A/R hot side is big enough.

i have a .82 gt35r on my b16 with an al tranny. im not getting full boost till like 6000rpm and its even worst because i have an ls tranny so im out of boost everytime i shift. i think there must be a problem somwhere making it spool so late. but i think im going to switch the exhaust housing to .63 and make a new 2" charge pipe from the turbo to intercooler. anyone know a good place to buy a new exhasust housing?

i had the tranny already and i like it becasue of the long 5th gear (i do alot of highway driving) but its on its way out. i dont see how the tranny could effect the spool of my turbo though
