Default GT35R Precision housings, to good to be true?? need opinions

Quote from the guy selling it

"I bought this turbo from Precision Turbo and Engine (http://www.precisionturbo.net/) over a year ago for my a car project. I decided to go with a different setup now. I have never used this turbo. The exhaust housing is a .63 A/R and it's set up for an external wategate only. It is capable of making 680 horsepower. It has the standard T3 4 bolt inlet and 5 bolt outlet on the exhaust side. The compressor side has a 3 inch inlet and a 2 inch outlet... The compressor wheel is 82mm and the turbine wheel is 68mm."

also i emailed him about the turbo cause the housings were precision and didn't see the water in/out, and he said this:

"It is dual ball bearing and it is water cooled. Precision turbo buys the center sections from Garrett and puts their own compressor and exhaust housings on them. So yes, it is a Garrett GT35R."

Is it worth $900

Looks like an sc61 to me cuz a gt35r uses a .70 ar comp housing. U could get a
sc61 for like less than $700 brand new.

thats about as close as you can get to a GT35r without getting one. Its either SC61 or GT35e PTE turbo

You can get those brand new with a warranty for less than 900$

x2

I would be willing to bet it says 6152e... cause that looks just like an sc61 with an e cover.

35r are oil/water cooled, get a pic of the center, but MOST 35rs ppl get come with the big S housing, that just looks like a regular sc61 with smaller comp housing

If you don't specify then you'll get the e housing. Either way you'll need a pic of the center.
If you're interested in a gt35r w/ 3'' v-band & 106.a/r with 1100 miles on it & a tune up @ 100 miles ago then PM me.

precision is now producting BB t3/t4 turbos. so whiel it may be a true BB turob, that doesn't mean it is a true GT series turbo.

$900 if it's not atrue GT then yea i woudl say so. if he purchased ti a while back. heck they got for over $1100 nowdays average even not being a GT series if it's a BB type.

i gto an email back from him today

"I have some bad news. Somehow, my dog managed to knock the turbo off the table and it really screwed it up. I'm pretty ticked about the whole thing. Sorry man, I can't sell the it like this. I'm pretty screwed now i guess."
