Default GT water lines tapped of radiator..Too much pressure?

well, im droppin in my new motor and i want to simplify all these lines i have so i wanted to run my water lines for my 35R off the radiator(aluminum one of course) via a couple AN fittings and some braided lines.

a friend posed the question that it might be too much pressure,

the water jacket in a turbo is in the cast iron and has no seals so i dont know if this will be an issue with pressure or not,

i wanted to feed from the top(side) of the radiator, and the gravity drain back into the bottom

anyone know if this will work

thanks guys

i have heard of many people doing this. i am personally using the coolant outlet on the head for the heater core, and welding a -8 fitting on for the feed, then using the outlet on the t-stat housing for the return. you don't need to "gravity drain" being that it is a pressurized system

On my setup my feed is coming from the bottom of the radiator(I have a fluidyne) and the return is placed right after the thermostat housing(where suction is strongest). So my turbo sees the coolest coolant.

Hope this helps.

its a fully pressurized system, so shouldn't really matter.

for mine, I ran AN fittings off of the head, where the heater hose was as the feed and the return, goes to the water tube to an AN fitting we welded to it where the heater hose used to go. basicly with heater out, just followed its path.
