Default gsr turbo gone wrong

i have a "98" gsr with ctr cams, blox IM, and a greddy kit with 310cc injectors, running with the greddy blue box, i recently just install the 310 injectors and up the boost to 10, when i drive it, at full boost around 4k the car would boggle and like back fire, like the back fire sound and the car wouldnt go anywhere beyond the 4 rpm at full boost, i can slightly gas the car and get beyond the 4k rpm but the car feels weird (hard to explain). the tech that did my car said it was turbo lag because i was using my stock gsr pipings, so i went and got 2.5 inch cat back piping but it still does the same thing...what could be wrong? ive heard the actuator or the wastegate could be damage but i am no sure or my cat is clogged?. any help would be appreciated! thanks

get it tuned, and run open downpipe to see if its backpressure from a clogged cat.

well as of right know i cant get it tuned, it is not an option as of yet, but what could be the problem? if i turn the boost down to 8, which i am, woudl it help ease the backpressure, but my friend ran 14psi with this kit and had not problem like this.? <confused>

try open downpipe first...since its building alot of pressure at 10psi right now....afterwards examine your plugs could be an ignition problem....

If he was running the blue box and stock injectors then put in 310 injectors the car without doing anything for management it is running pig rich.
