GSr tranny vent leaking help
I did a couple 3/4 gear test pull tonite. Came back to see that the transmission fluid had blast out from the trans vent. I use gm synchromesh and had just Change It a month ago. Any reson why it did that?? I don't have the factory vent cap on. Gsr boosted motor

I've never seen that happen. We run extra fluid in our trans and still don't have that issue. Has trans ever been opened? How much fluid?

Is there something plugging the vent? If it's not breathing then the pressure build up will take the path of least resistance.

Tranny fluid was fill through the speed Sensor and the fill drain was open when pouring until it started dripping. 1 1/2 quart total. Tranny was open long time ago to install lsd. The factory rubber plug on the vent was never put back
