Which is better? my 3rd gear is grid so im thinking of getting an LS..or buy new ring for the gear?

what motor? turbo? where do you make power and what kind of driving do you do? theres a lot in this choice. unless you run a small turbo that craps out up top or make 500+hp and shift at 7k get a gsr trans. that will get the discussion going

B18c1 turbo is a 48ar garrett turbo. going boosting 10-12psi and daily driven. JE piston and eagle rods

that is simply the A/R of the turbine housing. Turbo needs to be more specific. Honestly, keep you GS-R transmission. best of the middle ground in case you change purposes of the car.

It depends on a lot, where you make power, if you are running out of 4th at the track (if you even track it). I agree I'd keep the GSR if its a street car. The LS transmission is a cruiser
