Gsr Build Help
Hi everyone im planning on building a gsr for the street/mostly track...I have been reading up on many forums and seen that benson sleeved blocks aswell as golden eagle sleeved blocks seem to be the best way to go for hp numbers 500+ which would be my goal...The question is what mm bore is the best along with rod and piston combination, and can the stock crank and head be used at such high horsepower numbers...Also what is a better turbo to go with a gt35r...or a precesion 62/65 with a .68 housing due to turbo lag??Thanks any input would be great before i go spending massive amounts of money....
I would go with 82 or 83 mm bore...
Stock crank is more than sufficient... there are 1,200 hp hondas running stock cranks..
as for the cylinder head, probably go with porting by portflow design with some s2 pro1's
for the turbo, the 35r shoud be good... but lets see what the turbo gurus have to say..

I run wisecos on mine. Great value and quality, and they come with rings.
JE, CP, Ross, Arais all make nice forged pistons. Just depends on what your power goals are. As far as rods... I have eagles in mine... once again comes down to power goal and budget.
