Greddy Type S Bov too quiet?
When I compare to my friends GST w/ HKS SSQV, my Greddy Type S is QUIET!
Don't know if this is a factor, but at extremely low boost, on deacceration, I can hear the bov just a hit.
Do I have some kind of leak?

boost is like volume control . . . . . and it all depends on your turbo too. Bigger turbos push more air, making the BOV Louder.
My friends Greddy Type S BOV on his Mitsubishi eclipse @ 15psi nearly blew my ear drum. I could hear it clear across a footbacll field size parking lot. My friend who has a boosted accord has the HKS SSQ and I think it sounds like ****. I personally use the Type S

Like previously mentioned boost has alot to do with it. Even at 7 psi mine was "noticable", but now at 1 bar this thing is loud You just have to play with the setting to get it to sound just right.
Some poeple like them some people don't. Sounds is all preference as long as it's working then your

probably doubt you would be able to, our engines are such little displacement and there is hardly any load on them when they are out of gear. And you need to be in gear to build boost/load.

My Greddy Type S is louder than any other BOV i've ever heard for some reason. This was at 6psi. Go over your vacuum lines nad make sure that the BOV is getting a strong enough signal.

Re: (oemDC2)
Mines louder then shyte...
Boost definitly makes the volume increase, as does a good vacum source.
And on my h22 now 2.4l it will blow off slightly in neutral...
