I was thinking about getting this BOV. I was trying to get as much info on it. It say that it has adjustable settings of soft and hard. Can someone tell me what the difference is between the soft setting and hard setting?

 

soft is for lower psi and hard is for higher?

 

it's my favorite bov for 12psi and under. there is a nut and screw on the top, the nut can be turned down/up the thread to adjust the point at which it will open. best thing to do is guesstimate how tight to have the bov knowing the boost you're running, then drive around and keep adjusting until it's set so that it'll open properly when the t.b. closes.
