I would be using a block guard with this set up.
Would that help things??

No actually it would be 1715.93ccs so 1.71l to 1.72l. The stroke for the B16A is 77.4mm not 77mm. To make a B16A a 2.0 would need an 86mm bore and then it would be 1798ccs but for NA not FI

No. he thinness of the walls will still be the same, I would say 81.5mm max for stock sleeves unless someone else chimes in with actual experience

if you are using stock sleeves for forced induction, then what are you going to gain by boring the block that small amount. if you bore it to 84 mm you're looking at 1.7L. AT 84mm you would need to have sleeves. if i'm not mistaken to get 2L you have to bore it to 84mm and put in a crank from a ls or a gsr. then you run into deck height issues

For Forced Induction yes you want to go MAX of 85mm which is like 1.76liter to get 2.0 you wold need to stroke it but the rods would need to be shorter this would put the Rod to stroke ratio at 1.48:1 which is awful and have a lot of side load, the torque would be great but the redline would not be too high. HCI mag just did a stroker kit with an 87.2mm strok same as a GSR and shoter rods, made 203whp and 156ft-lb torque. But all motr you can bore to 86mm and get 1.96 or so!

All I really need to know is a piston that fits a 84mm bore good or bad for FI.
The pistons are Forged lower comperssion type.
Would this setup still be reliable as a daily driver or will it blow a sleave.
And what would be the max boost that could be run on this block?
It will also have forged rods, forged pistons, 1mm head gasket.

If you are running stock sleeves, DO NOT go 84mm because it wont last you very long

However, if you really want to go 84mm then you will need to RESLEEVE your block with either GE, AEBS, Darton, Benson sleeves.

if you have iron sleeves no. i've seen it on a few rides here in florida making over 300 ho easy.

again as long as you are using iron sleeves. stock honda sleeves wont cut it. with stock sleeves over 10 psi you're looking at flexing problems can you imagine with the thinner sleeves you'd have when you bore a stock sleeve to 84mm

question: are you going to use iron sleeves or are you thinking of using the stock sleeves

No you can't bore the stock sleeve to 86. Only when you get ductile iron sleeve like GE. Call Golden Eagle for more info.
