Default greddy turbo timer went crazy...help?

My friends 240 was parked all month with his headlights on so the battery died. We charged it and attempted to start it a few times so the memory on his turbo timer was cleared and the timer came on and off a few times but the battery was too dead to start it up. Now when you turn on the car the timer is totally cleared and the screen says 0_0 . None of the buttons on the front do anything now. Is there any type of way to reset it? the timer itself still turns on and off but nothing happens. cant seem to get any of the functions (the silect and time buttons) on it to work. Think it shorted out or something? We hit the switch on the back and it didnt do anything at all.

i believe the second one? it was working fine in the car till we jump started his car like 3 times but the battery has barely enough power to crank over. Im hoping it just reset itself but my friend pressed all the buttons and nothing happens at all. Only the power button responds

check and see which mode you are using, there is p-1 or p-2 and automode, im pretty sure since your battery died it just reset itself and come back on in auto mode
