greddy turbo/ ls
I have heard good and bad about the greddy turbo kits, (mainly bad) But for what I want out of my car, I decided to go with the greddy kit for my 99 integra ls. Anyone out there have any expierence with the greddy kit on a ls integra. How about 1/4 mi. times?? Any feedback would be helpful, and might give me a heads up for what I am in for...............
I just heard they dont make any power. Everyone I talk to says do not buy the kit. However I had a hard time believeing that these kits are junk like everyone keeps telling me. I have bought plenty of greddy products and they have always been top notch. I need some reasurance that I made the right move. My kit will be here in a few days...
when the kit comes in, put it on and let everyone ride with ya and see it for themselves and maybe they'll stop talkin about things they have no knowledge of ... but on the other hand if your lookin for serious power (say 380 to 400 whp) with the greddy kit then i'd look elsewhere ... not saying it can't be done ... but don't count on it ... it's a cool kit ... don't listen to other people ... learn from others but get what you want.
The greddy kit is an awesome street kit. yes you will not make as much power as the higher-end turbo kits. I
my greddy kit. it can be a lot better with a bigger turbo and better manfold, but i am not looking for a strip beast or beyond 10psi because i dont want to rebuild my engine right now, just something for the street.

Another question too guys, Does anyone think it is at all safe to use a boost controller on the greddy kit to get about 8 or 9 psi out of it??? That would be with the intercooler and a 255 lph fuel pump. Will the blue box componsate a/f ratios a little with the extra pound or two of boost. Anyone care to comment on this. Iwould like to get another couple of pound out of the turbo, especially if the kit comes set at 5 or 6 psi. Stock motor with 40k miles. Oh yeah a warranty too.
Like already stated above if your looking for power in the 300+ range then you might want to go with a kit that incorporates a bit bigger turbo. But the 18g isn't a bad turbo for someone looking to run 7-8 pounds daily.
