Fuel and Ignition Maps
I've been debating to go standalone for a long time now and with summer nearing I'm getting more and more excited to start the project. I think I have decided to go with the AEM EMS... currently I am doing one of those DIY WB meters.. so it should be completed in time to tune it. I don't know too much about tuning with a standalone.. could somoene please post or help me out by giving me thier fuel and ignition maps to get a general idea on what values they are using? I'd rather not have the 3d curve but the actual table of values. I'm going to be running stock internals on an LS motor with 450 injectors and a t3/t4e. Going to try to run around 12 psi with a 3bar map. Do I still need the resistor box for the 450 dsms? thanks guys
anyone? i need to look at the ignition map more than the fuel.. fuel i have a basic tuning concept.. i need to have a starting point for the ignition.
basically get you ems, log into the ems forums using your ems serial#, and then you can download 1 of 50 or so basemaps to get you going....
For ignition, I interpolated values based on the stock B18C1 ignition map for all
values in vacuum.. . Then retarded the 0psi value for positive pressure by .75-1degree per lb of boost.

gotcha.. that makes a lot of sense to me.. so at 12 psi you'll be 12 degrees retarded? And you retarded the value at 0 psi also? thanks a lot man!
