Ok I was installing my Greddy kit and I over tightened the Oil pressure straight Union and it snapped. This kit is for a SOHC. I would like to know of were I can get a replacement for it? Any help of were to get one is great.

Home Depot only sells NPT fittings. Is that a 1/8 BSPT to 1/8 NPT adapter? McMaster-Carr has just about everything. Shipping is very fast.

I tried my local hardware and automotive store and I swear I went through at least 8 qtrs of mobil 1 trying to find a fitting that fit and didnt leak. I ended up buying a new oil feed kit. I tried to order that from Greddy and was told it could take months to get

Were would I look for this adapter on the Mcmaster-carr.com site. And I believe its 1/8 npt on both sides.

If you're sure it's NPT on both sides, and you want brass (stainless is also available), it's on page 19. I can't find a way to link directly to the part, but just scroll down and you'll see it. If you want brass BSPT x NPT, it's on page 21.

Im not sure on if it is a npt or bspt in the manual it is says they are npt but I think Ill order both.

I'll look at my old Greddy oil feed parts later and see what you need. Or, you can order both parts, because it's less than $6 total.

So I need NPT on both sides the bspt side didnt fit. I ordered both the part #4860K611
and the #5485K21

I haven't found the box that contains my Greddy oil feed parts, but in my Greddy parts list, part 20 is 1/8 PT-1/8 PT, and part 21 is 1/8 PT-1/8 PF. I read that Japanese 1/8 PT is the same as 1/8 BSPT. Later on in the installation manual, it lists the T specifically as being 3 way 1/8 NPT. The PT-PT fitting goes between the block and the T. The PT-PF goes between the T and the oil feed. Which one did you break?

That's good, because I have no idea what "PF" is. Probably some proprietary Greddy fitting. PF=Probably Fucked.

Since the T is NPT, and the block is BSPT, then you need the fitting that's 1/8 BSPT-1/8 NPT.

Nope already tried that, it didnt work I need both sides of the fitting to be NPT. Ill see today. The fitting will come in today. They told me a NPTF fitting will fit.

The threads in your block that held the oil pressure switch are 1/8 BSPT. If the T is NPT, you'd need that side to be 1/8 NPT. I don't understand?
