You'll need to get a boost controller. Find out what's wrong with the wastegate, though. You should be at 5.5 psi on the GReddy SOHC kit.

well what about that little rod that runs out of the wastegate..I heard you can mess with those two little bolts that are on there to adjust boost anyone have pics or no which way to move the screws to add more boost

you may want to check the cat and see if its clogged. That trubo should be puting out more than 2 psi. back pressure could effect that.

yeah before you mess with the wastegate try to figure out why your not getting the regular amount of boost...

See if you have any exaust leaks pre-turbo. Then make sure all your charge pipes are hooked up properly.

Def. check for exhaust leaks. When i put mine on i didn't torque the exhaust mani bolts after the motor was hot. My turbo wasn't spooling till 6k ! Anyways my buddy came over and showed me how loose they were and how i didn't have my DP fully tight either. After torquing all the bolts i now spool at 4.3 k

I would check for boost leaks in the charge pipes. Also I would check with another boost gauge just to be sure.

i am calling greddy tomorow to see if the will warrant the actuator (doubt it )

I know, i'm not quite sure what is wrong, 4.3k is in neutral which makes it higher since it doesn't have as much load on it as it would actually driving down the street. I'll look at it when i'm actually moving next time though.
