Default SOHC Greddy Turbo Kit users

Hey guys, I want to up the boost a bit. My question is, if I build the Home Depot special boost controller, will my wastegate still hold up to say 10 psi or so??? This is the Td04h-15g kit. Thanks guys! The other option I have heard of is cutting the wastegate actuator arm and them threading a bolt type thing on there so I can adjust the boost at the wastegate. Any thoughts on what I should do??

the boost controller will allow you to do it and you will be fine as long as you don't change out the downpipe. if you do change the d/p it will spike. Secondly, you better not up the boost past like 8 or so on the blue box... it will detonate.

I'm running the E-Manage, and I do all my and my friend's tuning, so tuning for higher boost is no biggie. So just make a Home Depot special boost controller and tune it and I should be good right?? Which line do I run this in?? The line that the WG reads??

did you try to adjust the wastegate? there was a site with instructions on how to do it. It was either lengthen the arm or shorten. When i get home i'll post the site for you.

yeah, that's how I did it. I just tightened up the actuator arm to the wastegate. Use this for reference (got it from a turbod16.com member):

- 7-8 psi is exactly halfway down the threads of the actuator arm
- all the way closed is 10.5-11 psi on the greddy turbo
- 2 threads showing is 10 psi exactly on the greddy turbo

Hope that helped. I'm currently running 7 psi, going to up it to 10 psi when I get my clutch, fuel pump and injectors.

how d i do that with my t3 42/48 ar.? it's set at 5 psi right now. theres a nut on the wastegate arm, i tried to loosen it but the actuater arm gets longer. When i test drove it, lookin at my boost gauge, i was only boostin 3-4 psi..put the bolt back to were it was and tried to go further, but thats was the max. are there ways to get this turbo to run 7-8 psi?
