Default Greddy Profec B...

I juts installed my profec b, but the thing is that its not working at all!!!

here are the ways that i tried:

1) a. controller vac hose to mani
b. power and ground are connected
c. i had the black box between the hose that runs from the wg "out" to the turbo "in". left the top unplugged

2) a. controller vac hose to mani
b. power and ground are connected
c. i had the vac hose taped w/ 3 way and the hoses ran from turbo to wg and "in" port of black box. i used the upper fitting to attach it to the "out" port.

anything will help, it could be my black box is fwaked

i just hooked up my profec recently and we had to play with the settings on the back. took a little while to get it working properly, but just follow the manual and you should be good

You can get the manual off the Greddy website.

i got power, but it won't limit the amount of boost. the wg spring is set at like 6 lbs and the profec b does nothing at all to stop it.

haha, another problem like that! trust me, you're not the only one. i've had that problem forever, and i know a few people on here that had the same.

Here's the solution that i found:
On the back of the controller, where the dip switches are, set if for ACTUATOR TYPE (when overboost occurs). 4. UP, 3. DOWN, 2. DOWN, 1. UP The rest of the installation, vacuum hoses and stuff, set it just like how u would normally do. "IN" from the box comes from turbo/IM manifold source, "OUT" goes to top of the wastegate, side of the wastegate goes to turbo/IM manifold source. and ofcourse vacuum goes to the back of the controller. hope this helps, it sure fixed mine. good luck!
