Default Greddy Kit- Running lean help!

i finally installed the greddy kit this sunday and had the car running well for about 1 day then the check engine light goes on when my gas was near empty.

Later on that night while warming it up i smell gas and find out the injector closest to the distributor is leaking from the top since the o-ring was cracked. I replace it and everything was fine again for 1 more day. Then today check engine goes on and the same injector starts leaking again bcuz the oring cracked again.

diagnostic results...

fuels system too lean
fuel trim malfucntion

any ideas? i thought the greddy kit was set to run rich to be on the safe side

you need to stop shredding oring, you have a pressure loss from the oring, and your ecu is trying to compensate. use some 2+2 when you are installing the injectors into the bosses. it allows the orings to slide in with no problems.

o ring leak fixed...

now only showing p0171- running lean

car has close to 70k miles.

Just bought a new o2 sensor, and fuel filter, retarded timing by 2 deg. hopefully the code will go away.

Injector wires were not soldered. Will this have something to do with the car running lean?

thanks!

what is the fuel presure at the rail? could you be blowing the o ring out because of too much presure?

If you have a fuel pressure riser, drop the pressure.
