Greddy intercooler wont fit!!!
Hey I just got my greddy intercooler for my GSR. Major props to Hondadriven for the kickass deals he has goin.
Problem: it wont fit. I bent back the ac lines behind the oil cooler line like the directions told me to, but the intercooler is totally hitting the oil cooler line and I see no way to bend it back further. on top of all that it doesnt seem like the lower brackets will reach the holes on the bottom of the car. WHAT GIVES?!?!?!

Did you get the Type 24 or 31? My buddy with 00 GSR got the Type 24 and it fit fine with JDM front end. No cutting or anything.
There is an L bracket brace that we got with it. It bolts to the top of the IC, and we used one of the bolts on the hood release and it fit perfect....bolts on bottom lined up and all.

Post some pics of the intercooler up to the car, so we can see the "problem area". Cuz i know people are running type 24's with no problem.

greddy intercoolers are beautiful and fit perfect as well

ill have to wait until tommorow. I wonder if i got the civic intercooler. are they the same size?
edit: is it possible that i was trying to fit the lower brackets on the wrong holes? Like holes that sit further back? I was in a hurry when I was trying to put it in since I had limited light left. I'll have a better look tommorow with a friend.

Dude, I just figure out why it doesn't fit look the FMIC is to big for the pink GSR

no problems here. i think i had to swap the oil line with the AC line. had to reverse them ... read the instructions carefully.

Here is the problem! This is the underside of the car for the two brackets.
The red hole lines up but is not threaded and the supplied bolt is too small.
The blue hole is threaded and fits the supplied bolt, but the hole is also too far for the bracket to reach and the oil line starts hitting if i try and push the intercooler that far back. Whats going on?

if you cant do anything with it ill buy it for 300.
I finally got it to fit guys. I didnt bolt the bottom clamps. the piping and bumper hold it in place pretty good.
