I've never seen it, only read about it. The only thing I personally don't like about it just from reading, is that you can only adjust injector duty cycle in +/- 20% which seems like not enough...

I had it, and thought it was a good bang-for-the-buck. . . until I tried to find a shop "qualified" or familiar enough with the software which was a pain in the *** to say the least.

Does it correct for ignition timing? Is the hondata superior to it or should I go with the AEM?

+/- 20% is what greddy says, you can actually use any sized injectors if you know how to program it (should be easy once you get to know the module).

Interesting. . .yes you can retard/advance timing but you have to buy the timing harness. To conrol injector duty cycle you need to buy the harness for that too I believe.

Without the optional injector and ignition harnesses, the e-manage is nothing more than a glorified AFC that uses the MAP signal spoof to fool the ecu into adding or subtracting fuel (like an Apexi AFC) +/-20% at 5 preset rpm points. The harnesses allow for 16X16 grid of cells for fuel and ignition maps which are only programmable with the greddy software. My understanding has been that greddy only sells the software to tuners and not to the general public. But that is a rumor that I have heard, and I could be wrong on that. The software allows for a bunch of other things as well, such as vtec control, boost limit, and very basic datalogging. After buying everything you need to have the full functionality of the e-manage, you could have purchased yourself a used PMS.

I am considering purchasing one...and now that they have the e-01 boost controller you dont need to buy any software since the controller on the e-01 controls the emanage. To me its more powerful than the safc but not as advanced as AEM. If you want to get one or learn more..I found this site on the net.

full greddy package:
e-01: $500
e-manage: $300
pressure sensor: $100
pressure sensor harness: $30
injector harness: $35
ignition harness: $35
total: $1000

That's getting close to the cost of an AEM EMS, and it is not plug and play like the EMS, nor is it near the functionality.

You dont need the pressure sensor or the pressure sensor harness you see on the site. There will be a $25 cable that will allow the emanage to use the pressure signal from the boost controller...so around $875-$900. I am not saying its anything that much cheaper but you also have to realize that with this setup I dont have to go out and buy a laptop just to tune my engine, I mean if you already have a laptop then whatever but not everyone out there does. I am personally purchasing it for a vehicle for which the people over at AEM have decided to ignore so I am going with the emanage. If its for a honda and you have the cream splurge on the AEM.

It seems to me you took my post a bit personal. I was only trying to be informative for those that were asking about the emanage. Definitely use what you think is best for yourself. It does seem like a system with potential. And you are right, not needing the laptop is a big plus. But damn, wiring the emanage looks to be a huge bitch.
