greddy bov valve type 's' flange from a piece of scrap metal?
I just purchased some 2" exhaust piping I'm going to use as charge pipes... I'm tire of cut up dsm and probe charge pipes. I want to get rid of the ghetto jb weld hold my bov on. anyone have a picture of the flange? I figure I would go get a scrap of metal and drill/ drimel it out until it fit. Then weld the flange it to the charge pipes. I could use a gasket maker to make a gasket.
Anyone see anything wrong with this or that I am forgetting?

waht u can do is buy a circle peice of metal, cut a big hole in the middle and drill 2 holes to the side. then get a 1.5 inch diameter metal tube thats like 1 inch tall and weld it to the metal plate

good idea, now I gotta find a place in town that sells metal like that. I think think an automotive store would sell that.

ya it's tit to make flanges like this. I woulden't plane on useing the dremel to remove to much material though, unless you got lots of time and wheels. I made all the flanges for my setup....1/2" adaptor plate, 1/2" DP flange, 1/4" charge pipe to compressor, 1/4" dsm bov flange....weeeee flanges are fun
