How come I can't hear vtec? I have a 00 teg gsr. I know it is working my car is fast and has a JRSC on it. I have heard that you can't hear it once you boost it, but I have had my friends listen from the outside and I have done it too, we can hear it. But from the inside of the car we can hear it.

 

If you're just revving it in neutral vtec won't engage.
