got tuned today :(
running b18c1 drag3 on an aem
Problems i had while i was there
1) my axel passenger shaft was only half in so on the first pull i dumped my tranny fluid
2) my fans were not working so i had to rig them to the battery
3) i used to run turbo on stock ecu so i had missing link so aem wasnt aware of boost.
these problems werent that bad but once we got to the tuning we realized my turbo wasn't building boost right. i went with the intention of running 13-14 lbs make about 330hp. but the boost was being controlled by wastegate spring and i was building a very slow 8 lbs peak at peak rpm( so in other words i was getting a very gradual increase in boost.
on top of that im running a 255 pump with aem rail and fpr to dsm injectors
not enough fuel at all i had them peek at 120% duty cycle not to great huh!
and my map sensor was limiting me as well.
but otherwise the car was tuned to very drivable up to 6k so it wasnt a completely horrible day
to anyone whos actually read this far i provide you with my shitty numbers. 218 to the wheels at 8lbs

Re: got tuned today :( (integra6650)
the past 2 months i had my car tuned twice.... first time was a straight disappointment. had a lot of problems like you too and i fix those then went back and it was still on the disappointed side.... made 260whp @ 10psi with a LS Vtec with endyn piston and eagle rods with a turbonetics t3/t4 .57 trim ar63. I still have a problem with the turbo manifold and i gotta save up $ for a new manifold and go back again. 3rd times a charm????

you guys should be more explicite about the problems you ran into/are running into.
So other people can avoid having those same problems in the future.
just a thought.

Re: (Tad)
more explicit, ok
dont use missing link with a stand alone, dontdont ever buy a turbonetics wastegate or manifold. and aside from that the mistakes i had were stupid ones like not having the driveshaft completely in.
as for the slow boost i dont really understand why this is happening i have an avcr and i have the aem both capable of controlling boost but im gonna get a cheep manual one for the time beeing
