viren,
i have a couple questions about the manifold...
if you aren't going to use some of the sensor ports (like the evap thing) can you plug the ports?
do you have to modify intake piping?
i'm not planning on raising my redline...i know this mani is designed to open up the top end...how much does it hurt low end? anyone got any dyno charts?
thanks...

it doesnt affect the low end that much. If you are driving in 4000-7800rpm range you should be really pulling good. If anyting below it going to run like stock ls manifold. You can plug whatever you are not using. I dont use the IAVC as well as many other ports. So they give you plenty of options.

Besides just looking cooler, does polishing add any other benefit? Does it, perhaps, open up flow a little more? Cuz I've noticed that many people liike to get things polished..the crank, for example.

Re: Got one JG victor X mani for a GSR polished for 500 (archmage)
archmage - In this case, they are speaking of the OUTSIDE of the manifold being polished... the only polishing that would affect airflow would be internal polishing... Like a cylinder head <for us non show guys anyway> It smooths up surfaces and allows the air to flow more smoothly into the combustion chambers...
The polishing for $500 <I am led to beleive> is external bling bling style polishing, not horsepower creating airflow increasing polishing.
