got a challenge for u guys!
ok..i have a 255lph intank..12:1 fmu (i know thats to much)..RC 370cc injectors. yesterday i just installed a msd inline fuel pump. and now when i get to v-tec the car just boggs out and barely runs. what is the problem? before i punch it and hit v-tec the car runs fine. b/c at only like 14% throttle it doesn't do it. is it just dumping to much gas? or what?? i have a 6:1 disc on the way. just wondering if that is my problem. help me out please..very annoying

If you're dumping out black smoke when you hit WOT, then you're getting way too much fuel.
Why would you need that much fuel pressure/flow? The in-tank should supply enough fuel

I had a stock fuel pump and a MSD inline fuel pump. My fuel pressure was set at 45. I removed the stock pump and inline pump I replaced it with the medium walbro pump. My fuel pressure read about 40 with that setup. I turned it up to the 45 psi that my hondata was tuned at, and my car ran great. I imagine your running quite rich, but I've never run with a FMU.

you're really giving your injectors a pounding if you're pushing 100+ psi through them. Anything up there is just asking for a seized injector

what?? on a drag kit with 7 psi a stock injector pushes about 124psi through. so why is 100 psi bad for an rc injector?

Whats up Josh, this is Matt. You better have that beast running when I'm back from school for Thanksgiving.
I always thought your car ran a little rich, maybe if u get like a 6:1 disk with the 370's ( I think thats what u said u have ) then it should run a lot better. i dont know a whole lot on this fuel crap but that sounds like it should work.
THR WHAT!?

the 12:1 regulator is designed to be used with a high pressure inline pump and stock injectors. Your injectors are too big, this is the problem...

the inline is allowing u to run higher pressures now and u r running too rich most likely. i think the 6:1 disk will solve ur problem.
