how low are you planning on running the boost?
do you have shitty placement of the wastegate on the manifold? or is it good?

38 will be fine with good placement
44 for a not so well placed manifold

not sure a t3/4 will get you 5000hp though

?? its quite a bit larger than the t3/t04e series.

the blowzilla is a t3/gt40, it has a 61.4mm GT35R compressor wheel and a stage 3 or stage 5 turbine wheel.

38mm wastegate might work, but its tough to say. wouldnt want to see you try a 38mm gate and have it creep. i think if you have no intention of running less than 13-14psi you will be ok. just a guess lol.

larger wastegates are for lower boost larger engines
or if you wanted to control very low boost in 1st gear to high boost in top gear on a smaller engine

etc etc
