Why run a hack when you could run the uberchip for ~$200 less? Better results for a lower price (no price).... hmmm...

For idle and cruise: Hold the motor at a steady RPM, and watch the A/F ratio. On the low table of the VAFC, increase or decrease the correction at whatever that rpm is until you achieve the A/F ratio you want. At idle and cruise this will usually be about 15:1. You also might want to wait and do it several times, so that you can try to bring the long term fuel trims (if Hondas have them?) back close to 0.

At WOT, just make a pull on the dyno or on the street, in as high a grear as you can. Then, plot out the WB across the rev range. Use the hi throttle correction table and adjust the A/F ratio to wherever you want it to be, probably around 12:1.

That's it, really. There are some harder more advanced things, but those are the basics.

i dont want to run the hack,i cant see spending $300 for a vafc, when i could use check valves for that part of it to "trick" the ecu,i want to use it for exact tunning on the a/f ratio.im going to try it a couple of different ways, but i really dont want to use the hack.
