Good price?
Called a local shop today " Central Florida Turbo" asked them how much to build my D16Y8 and turbo it.... i got to go meet in person so i can get all the details but this is what they said
fully built... pistons rods headwork ... he said maybe sleeve it
Gt3076 turbo with there own components and eighter microtech or hondata
pretty much i drop off the car they do all the crap and i pick it up a beast
$6,000 roughly is what he said

Re: Good price?
i figure id drop at least 4k on a good turbo setup.. then another grand on **** to build the motor so thats 5k... and id have to pay someone to build the actual motor and id have to pull the motor and put it back in

injectors, pump, ecu, engine parts, machining, turbo components, exhaust, boost control, regulator, tuning, clutch, sleeves & headwork?.... they must be doing the labor for free, jump on it. depending on the parts they use, i could see it being more than 6k on just the parts alone
