Default Good oil return line material?

er... my kit came with a rubber hosey. Like.. came with a maxrev kit.

I imagine it would be wise to upgrade it to stailess steel braided line?

yeah, i want to know the same thing cuz the earls stuff all costs a total of ~$100 for everything. rubber high-temp hoses seem so much cheaper.

I hope you didn't get into the world of turbo and not expect to pay an arm & a leg for everything....

Yep, stainless steel, and with the good fittings you are at ~$100.

i dont want to even get started with the headaches it costed
spend the 100$, ask questions later
as we speak im upgrading the rubber hose to a steel braided line
its totally worth the money

1 -10AN 90 degree fitting = $25
1 -10AN 45 degree fitting = $25
1 1/2"NPT to -10AN fitting = $6
1 -10AN weld on bung =$6
1 ft of ss line = $6

That totals up to $68...expect to pay this plus or minus about $10.
Mine was about $75 shipped for everything.

Dude that is WAYWAYWAY too much to pay for that. Find an aeroquip dealer under hose and fittings in the phone book, my feed cost $35 and the return should be less. It was SS Teflon core with all the fittings. Earl's are the same **** but cost a ton more cause they're perty.

why...would the rubber hose ever mess up if you put it on right and no leaks were present from the beggining?

heat from your downpipe/turbo can end up burning the hose, once it happened to me once i used a heat insulation wrap on it, now im going to the earl's fittings for the return line, it may be $70, but its worth it.

The steel braided line doesnt cost you much its all the fittings that do.

That's what I was told by people as well so I'm not going to risk it. Do it right or not do it at all is what I say.
