Hey guys I'm just wondering is it a good idea to boost a stock 99 civic CX with only 30k miles? Or should I jus swap a b16a2 (Believe its an SI motor) in instead? Looking for about 8-10 psi of boost and around 3000 to spend. with a hondata tune from elite in minneapolis.

 

I'm sure its ok to boost with 30k miles on the engine. IF you only have 3k just boost you CX. What do other people think?

this would be the best option for you if you want a swap and turbo

 

With a $3000 budget your best option is to turbo the CX.

 

Is the CX the one with 70hp? well regardless, even at 105 hp, the turbo ain't gonna do much for you.

play with a swap first instead.
