do you think this turbo is good for me it is a t3/t4 60 trim it is going on a d16z6 i want to make 400hp the guy wants 700$ fresh rebuild. do you think i should buy it? thanks.

ps. the engine is going to be fully built from valve cover to oil pan.

yea you can get 60 trims for about 150 less brand new.

first off thats t4 flanged, second it will spool at about 8k if at all

just buy a a new t3t4 50 trim with a .63 hotside and be done with it
they can be had for 600 new and buy a borg warner or a garrett one and don't buy ANY TURBO OFF OF EBAY UNLESS ITS A HOLSET PERIOD

Look in the sponsors classified. You can get a brand new one for $550-600. I've seen brand new ones in the FI classifieds for $450. $700 is a ripoff;
