Default Golden Eagle Sleeved copper rings. How to Remove / Replace

Hey, I just got a block from this guy and it is a LS sleeved with 84.5 mm Golden eagle sleeves, but it has the ring upgrade and they are copper. I need to know if they are 1 piece or like layed in there. cause I can't find an end to pull the old ones out and where do I get new rings for it. They are small and I don't know how deep they are cause I can't even get them out. Help. Also I was wondering if I could just get the block decked to the top of the sleeves again and just usse a regular head gasket. HElP

Here is what you do.
Get a sharp pick, guide it straight into the center of the copper wire. Drive it down into the wire, tilt the pick and try pulling the wire out. It takes some patience, but this is the inly way. Also, be sure to not damage the groove the wire sits in. If you create any kind of dent or lip on the o-ring groove, then get some sand paper and sand it flat. Make sure there are no burrs or anything. We have replacement wire available for purchase. Give us a call (909) 592 - 4311 ext. 102. Thanks and hope this helps.
