I'm sure I'll need to redo my o-rings at some time in the future so now is a good time to find out more info. Can you buy the wire uncoated somewhere, is it always 18 gauge? Any tips and tricks for installation? Mine came installed and I couldn't believe how well they got the ends to meet perfectly.

never done o-rings, but aren't you supposed to put them in or cut them a certain way for a good seal?
