Going on boost :-)
As the title says... I'm going to boost, but since I'm new to this totally different world on the honda game, i not really sure as to what to get.
I currently have a ej8 with a ls swap in it. Before I the swap was in, I completely rebuilt the the motor. New gaskets, seals, oil pump, water pump, timing belt, piston rings, rod bearings, block was honed, etc. The motor only have 700 miles on it since rebuild. My friend has a brand new turbonetics t3/t4 and intercooler that he will give me. So why not go boost? I'm trying to find out the do's and dont's on boosting an ls.
What do you guys recommend?

I plan on buying:
-Skunk2 Intake Manifold
-Skunk2 Throttle Body
-Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
-AEM Fuel Rail
-AEM Fuel Pressure Reg.
-ARP Head Studs
Please feel to make recommendations

ARP headstuds are great. and so is the walbro pump,
i would look into a AEROMOTIVE FPR (far more superior than the AEM piece)
i would look into a set of bigger injectors,
a 3 bar map sensor (because anything above 10 psi, the stock one will not read),
a nice manifold,
a external WG and BOV (tial),
charge piping,
a vacuum manifold to run all of your vac lines into
oil supply hose for your turbo
oil return hose for your turbo
what are you going to use to tune the setup with? (hondata, crome, neptune, etc)
ok, i am the first person to respond on your thread, i give you tech info and ask 1 simple question (TO HELP YOU), but you end up responding only to the 1 guy who did not add any tech to this thread and you ignore my question, you sir are an ***, good day!

Anyway...
You can keep your stock TB/IM/FPR and spend more on things like fuel injectors and nice hose couplers and clamps. The little stuff adds up quickly on a turbo build.
WOW, what an emotional azz dude.... Sorry that I overlooked your respond, but thank for the compliment you *****!!! What do you expect a pat on the back or a hi 5?
no i expect you to answer my question, after all i was only asking it to help YOU, in fact i am the ONLY PERSON IN THIS THREAD WHO POSTED TECHNICAL INFORMATION... if your that stupid that you overlook 1 post on a thread with 4 posts total you have no right trying to fix up ANY car, let alone turbo one...

Thanks for ur input, thou
Now go cry somebody else a river!!!! :-P

dude, its annoying...
Yeah did you say how much power you're looking for? And did you rebuild the motor to stock form or is it "built" with forged internals and what not?
I will assume that it is rebuilt to stock so I would go for around 250-300 hp which is plenty for the street.
I would get
-log manifold with dp from spoolin perfomance or peakboost. Good reputable companies
-650cc injectors (might have to get a resistor box)
-oil lines (try the site www.tunertoys.com for their complete kit)
-Tial wastegate and any bov you want although Tial makes nice ones as well
-IC piping (can get this from ebay with couplers for a decent price)
-A new clutch that will hold the power/torque
-3 bar
-walboro 255 fuel pump
-boost gauge and wideband
-neptune or hondata and get it dyno'd. (this is the most important step if you want it to last)
