going b16b turbo/need advice
So I'm going turbo, I have a stock b16b, with a gsr trans.
Going to stroke the engine using a Ls crank micropolished, forged rods and p73 pistons, acl race bearings, arp rod studs. Keeping pistons at 81mm. Looking to run around 10 psi.
Ram style exhaust manifold,external wastegate,down pipe,thermal 3in exhaust with 3.5in cut out,fmic,with hks blov,arp head studs.
Head mild port and polish, daul vavle springs, cam gears, fpr and fuel pump, catch can.
So I'm looking to make around 350hp on pump gas using a small t-3 going to be used for time attack and DD around 100 miles a day, any advice would be cool.

To make that kind of power, you'll need to adjust your goals.
You can't have a 1.6L, 350whp on pump gas AND a small turbo. Do you have access to anything better than pump gas?

A healthy, stock B16B can make 300whp all day. I highly suggest ARP head studs though.
And I have to admit, I'm not feeling your build plans at all.
However, I wish you good luck. <--- non-dick smiley

What part dont you understand, why go using ls crank or the whole set up. Im looking for ideas using the b16b first one i ever had. Last car i had was h2b on boost as well using a closed deck block to boost around 15-20 psi.

if you're going to tear it all down for a build you would be money ahead selling thet ctr engine and using what you get for it to buy either a sleeved block or a stock b18c block. unless it's blown up or in parts i don't see why you would tear apart a 1500-2000 dollar engine

I was going to sell my motor and get a k,but then I took a ride in a buddy's car with a b16b making 500 hp on 116 octane. Plus he can still drive to work and get like 25mpg.

He can do it. Yes, even on pump gas as long as there's a bit of Octane Booster (I'm an E85 killer, you know that, Schisterr). In order to do Time Attack and daily driving. for the B16B, he could use either the GT3071R, and TR3021R, GTX3071R could be able to do it. With the right parts and assembly, its ok.

Re: going b16b turbo/need advice
I'm just looking for good all around power, I need the push around the turns and up hill passes. Going to big on a Turbo will give me lag and when I'm trying to turn its going to push me off the course. So I'm just trying to keep it under 400. Going to run bigger injectors and have the Neptune system tuned. So let me know what u think, also already using a stage 3 clutch.
