can someone check the stamped part number on the back? i want to make sure i got the right map sensor....

on the back where it's stamped "GM" it says "466"
and
on the back of the connector where it's stamped "A,B,C" , are numbers stamped "460 8211".

please verify.. thanks!

I'm on the same hunt. I've looked everywhere for information. GM is useless. I also have 2 that have the 466 stamp and 460 xxxx numbers and green plug incerts.

Be carefull when purchase GM 3 Bar map sensors! There are just so many of those damm GM 3 bar maps. What are you planning to use the 3 Bar map with???

If you are going to use it for Hondata then you have to get the one from them. Believe me!!! I tried so many different 3 bar maps. I went out and bought 4 different maps and only one worked with Hondata.

If however your using the 3 bar maps for other systems then I think all are good. However my 3 bar map save 748 on the back, it's either 748 or 749. Sorry I have bad memory.

HTH

edit - you can buy the plug for the 3 bar map at any local pep boys or parts store. They cost $1.50 for the plug, remember these are generic GM parts so anyone will have them.

Where can I get the voltage maps for them? You know so I can make my fuel maps in accordance to the voltage and whatnot.

i went to my local shop to look up the GM 3 bar MAP sensor, they had #735-13201 off the shelf. i've seen so many #'s being stated about finding the correct MAP sensor to use with the Hondata system.

is it better just to spend the extra $$ and get the MAP from Hondata so i know it'll work correctly?

what model GM vehicles do these MAP sensors come in? only the older, 80's models or the newer ones too?

some have gotten GM MAP's from their local stores and they say the ones they got work fine.

thanks
