Glue coming off between the new sleeve and old sleeve
The sleeves are Darton and it was sleeved by R&D Dyno. I've been losing about a cup of coolant every week and with the head off, I noticed that the "GLUE" that seals the coolant from entering the oil pan, is coming off (WTF?)
Anyway I can fix this myself?

That tan colored stuff is oil mixed with water, not glue.
You can try using one of the parts store block sealers like "Bars leaks", but it depends on how much of a leak there really is..

Sorry to say I would agree that there is oil mixed with coolant. If you look at the cylinder down in the bottom right of the pic you can see the coolant all seperated.

The tan colored material is glue. Yes there is oil in the bottom of the pic, which would of mixed when the head was pulled.

So oil mixed with oil turns tan? From the pic you can clearly tell it's not an oil mixture.

[edit]After seeing the new pictures, I'd like to say WTF?![/edit]
Yea, take that shiet back to where you got it done. I've NEVER seen anything like that before.

By any chance did you remove that glue when you got the block back?

The glue is NOT leaking. That is just excess epoxy that is squeezed out when the sleeves are pressed in place. If you are losing one cup a week into the pan, the oil would be all milky in the pan. I understand the oil is perfect. An engine can evaporate a cup a week of fluid.

. Finally someone reputable to listen to. That glue is obviously nothing. I have a used (sleeved) block that looks the same and I just pressure blasted all that excess crap out of the block.
Oil and coolant mixture?! C'mon guys.

if you've ever seen what it looks like when you oil and coolant mix due to an bad head gasket or crack int the block or whatever, you would know that it does look exactly like the "glue" that they use. i thought that it must bee the oil and coolant mixing untill someone posted a picture of what the glue looks like and can see how someone could mistake it.
