For the theory behind the manifold (supersonic exhaust pulsing) yes I think it is necesary. cylinders 1 and 4 merge with 2 and 3 merging. Remember this is a divided collector to meet up with a divided exhaust housing on the turbo.

Cody is the designer of this manifold, and Ben(Bnjmn) is the original purchaser and the person who wanted it based on the divided housing. I have been researching this type of setup for awhile and just my luck that ben was selling this for a smaller turbo so the divided housing wouldn't work as well.

I will be bracing the manifold from the original exhaust manifold suppor and flange to flange. I also made up a bracket to support the wastegate flange.

I also have to say this manifold is top notch, what Cody had to go through to make this thing must hav been a nightmare.

I am shooting for 500-600 whp with this setup.
