is getting a b16a2 complete with low miles including the cost of install the same as if i got a greddy turbo kit with intercooler and all the gauges and turbo timer, etc? this is going on a 98 honda civic ex coupe. how much would it be if it is not the same. i heard u can get a greddy turbo kit with all the add ons installed for about $2500 while the swap itself is $2500 for the engine complete only. but i hear from others differently.

 

You're looking at about $3,000 for the turbo and allt he extra parts(brand new) and thats not installed......you're probably going to want a newer b16 motor so thats probably going to cost you 2500-3000, not installed......also i know of a b16a2 out of 2000 civic Si, with 25k miles on it for sale....complete everything for $2800...

 

Go with the motor... then you can turbo the motor later
