Cometic headgaskets are usually used as a quick fix on a messed up motor.

are you running teh civic or lude radiator cap? there might be a pressure differance between the 2. also you can do the washer trick and put washers between the hood hinges, and the hood, and allow heat to excape through the back.

also wrap the turbo manifold, and downpipe with heat wrap it will cool the engine bay down alot

Well if you'd been on Honda Revolutions, you'd have seen that Mase is coming over to the UK at the end of this month to tune some cars!!! But its pretty much full up now unless we get enough to book the dyno for a second day. PM me if you're interested but be quick about it!

What show are you talking about, Ultimate Street Car at Pod? I'll keep an eye out for your car then, hoping to run my little turbo ITR there too

You might also want to make sure that your rad. fan is pulling air from the front of the car back instead of pushing toward the radiator.

A shop can do a pressure test, it involves two color dyes:

IF the dyes mix yell/blue to form green, coolant is leaking past your hg and causing you to overheat. Sometimes you can watch your overflow res and if it starts bubbling a little every now and then that usually means pressure is coming out of the motor (blown HG)

Usually overheating is caused bya bad thermostat or bubbles in the line.

YOU WOULD BE VERY SUPRISED AT HOW LONG IT TAKES TO GET ALL THE BUBBLES OUT OF THE SYSTEM. Bleed it about twice as long as you think it needs to. I found this out the hard way this weekend.

Like half an hour with the heater on.
