Gettin more boost on a LS motor and the max u can run with stock internals
I just got a bigger pipping coming from the flange that meets the downpipe back to my 2 1/2 exhaust going straight back. The guy that did my swap ghetto rigged it and once i left the muffler shop . I punched it and now its running 8 psi on a t3/t4 turbo. At first i was running 6 before muffler shop. How can find some other ways of getting some easy boost without a boost controller or is that it?? What is the max amount of boost you can run on a b18b1 ls motor with stock internals to be on the safe side.... if i get a boost controller?

that used to happen with me on my deltagate and is how i blew my 1st motor. i was on 10psi with my exhaust hooked up went open downpipe and flew up over 14

yes when i would take off the type r exhaust and go open downpipe it ended up boosting 3-4psi higher... really irritated me.
