Default gauge not reading boost VID!!!

i installed my boost gauge before the turbo, and it read vaccuum perfectly.
when i finished the turbo install, i Tee'd my hks ssqv off the same hose, and now it doesn't move at all. it just stays still the entire time, around 1 pound.
t3/t4 57 trim
tial 38mm
hks ssqv

oh yea, i'm still on the phearable basemap, if that matters.

and this is just a walkaround of my car, nothin too fancy

I guess I'd ask where the other side of the bov line goes. Its possible you have a boost leak (not uncommon), but if it never sees vacuum ever, that means the other end isn't connected to the intake manifold. The gauge should be connected somewhere after the TB, I always recommend a dist. mani that's tee'd off the brake booster line.

as gay as this sounds.... i unhooked the hose and blew into it as hard as i could, but the needle didn't move

this should normally be enough pressure, right?
is the gauge shot?

Try getting a vacuum manifold. It will allow you to better diagnose the problem and cleanup your engine bay in the process.
