Precision uses Garrett Center sections but machines their own housings...

I believe Precision has the better warranty? 90 days versus 30 days...is that correct?

Their both really great turbos and you cant go wrong with either one.

I've heard from someone in the industry that Garrett's casting procedures are much better than what Precision does. I can't go into detail because this was a conversation from over a year ago, but the main problem was that Precision housings were more likely to have stripped bolt holes due to their green sand casting....or something along those lines. I can't verify any of this as its from memory, but maybe someone can elaborate.

There are other options as well as just Garrett and Precision. You don't have to have a GT35R to make that power, which is why you won't get "best pricing" ever for what you think it will be.

You can use:

BW S362
BW S366
GT3540S (Journal Bearing)

The BW have a 1 year warranty.. PM me if you have any further questions.

I would check into the Borg Warner stuff more. They have a lot of good turbos that nobody picks because they're not ball bearing. I'm using an S256 on my new build
