Hi all , I keep hearing that Garrett is about to release some new turbos and housings in a few months . Any idea what and when ?

Only turbo that will be released in the near future is the GT40R.

Garrett is releasing the GTP wheel sometime this year. They will also be releasing the GT3788, which is an 88mm GT40 with a GT37 turbine.

is this a release just to the american public. Because I know they have been used for a while. At least, I know of some who have used this turbo for the past 1-2 years. I just recently bought a GT40 from Precision and Rod said that the GT40R turbo was getting released shortly but has already been out in the autralian and/or japanese market or something along those lines. I dont know how accurate the following I have said is.

There were a few preproduction that were released according to the Garrett rep I talked to this weekend, so thats where they got them.
