garret t3t4 on a b16 with cam gears hondata w/boost rc 440 Ive been hearing good and bad things about how the turbo spools someone told me 5000 to 5500 that is high as **** and I heard it is between 3500 and 4500 can someone give some good input

 

well, your first problem is the misconception that every t3/t4 is the same. there are what....a zillion different trims out there. You need to figure out what compressor/turbine combo is the best for your engine and at the same time you can determine approx spool up time.

I will tell you that I've never heard of it taking until 5000 RPMS to spool any t3/4 on a B16. It only took until approx 4000 RPMs on my SOHC with a t3/t04b
