Default gapless rings + boost?

I know a lot of people on here say total seal=total crap, but then some people say they work better than anything else. My question is to those people, what did the people who had problems do wrong? Or is the success rate so low that it's not even worth attempting..?
thanks for any assistance

From what I've read from some experimental results, ring end gap has almost nothing to do with cylinder sealing. If you are getting blow by, it's because the spring tension holding the ring against the wall is weak or because the ring/cylinder wall aren't working together to form a good seal.

I'm not 100% sure on Hondas, but most OEM rings on import motors are a lot better quality then most aftermarket products. Personally, I wouldn't waste the time/effort with gapless rings. Lots of motors have a great deal of R&D in them, and to my knowledge, no manufacturer is using gapless rings in any of their OEM motors. The cost to manufacture gapless rings is probably no higher then conventional rings, so I don't see why they wouldn't use them if they were in fact better.
