i have a b16 fully built block with low comp pistons, and its a bare block rite now but will soon be put together. scence the pistons are low comp dish style.. i want to know if it will pass obd2 smog test with the low comp and stock ecu from a 99 si. i was thinking i need to swap out the pistons for a flat one like oem but from JE piston, i dont have a lot of money so id like to do it in one shot.

Should be just fine, just make sure you have stock injectors and a cat.

 

ohh ok so with the low comp pistons it wont run funny with the stock program?

No as long as you have stock ecu and injetors...the compression wont make it run weird..

 

so ill have clean gas readings too?

 

you will pass the tests, dont worry about it, the stock 02 and the cat will do what they are supposed to do............
