Default full-race downpipe

I just bought a used full-race stage 3gt kit and was wondering do any of you guys use a gasket between the turbo and downpipe if so what material did you use?

When the surfaces are truly flat, U do not need a gasket.

Most people who put a turbo kit together do not use a gasket.

Most of the OEM turbo setups use gaskets cause they use a lot of cast parts that possibly might not be truly flat, so the gasket makes up for the imperfections.

I usually use high temp copper gasket maker. never had any problems. but to answer your question, no there is not supposed to be a gasket there.
